Coca-Cola created a Christmas classic in 1971 with their commercial
set on hilltop with people of different cultures all singing about peace,
harmony and Coca-Cola. The song was
created the an ad agency working for the beverage company after they were
inspired by disgruntled travelers stranded at an airport who started to get
along once they started talking to each other and drinking Coca-Cola. The song
was also a big pop hit with references to the drink removed. The commercial is
still aired every Christmas and is very much part of the season.
